MAO is the Observer of Mixin
The Observer of Mixin, the first ever MAO, was created with the idea of giving people the freedom to access financial and messaging systems in a private way. Mixin chose Bitcoin and the Signal protocol, believing that BTC is the only money truly owned by people and that end-to-end encryption is the solution to privacy problems. Mixin Messenger was uploaded to Google Play and App Store on Christmas Eve of 2017. Mixin is not focused on Bitcoin or any specific technology, but rather on advocating for privacy and freedom. The Bitcoin blockchain is criticized for being slow and lacking privacy protection.
